Artist Talk at Boston College

I will be making a presentation at the What's New in Children's Books? conference held at Boston College. This annual half-day autumn workshop highlights the season's best new literary releases. This year's event also features Francisco Stork, Pat Keogh, Gail Hedges and Masterpiece author Elise Broach! The conference includes an exhibit of new books and a book sale and signing. Details:

An Exceptional Children's Book Illustrators Exhibition

Meet and talk with award winning illustrators Christopher Bing, David Macaulay, Kelly Murphy, Matt Tavares, Chris Van Allsburg and David Wiesner, who will be signing books and taking part in a forum at the Brush Art Gallery & Studios in Lowell, MA at a unique reception held October 2nd, 2010.

The featured illustrators' original art will be exhibited at the gallery from September 19th to October 24th, 2010.

Kelly Murphy at Chemers Gallery

I will be in Tustin, CA, at the Chemers Gallery as a featured artist in their 18th Annual Children's Book Illustrators' Show & Signing, along with Ronald Himler, Rafael Lopez, Kristina Swarner and Lee White. The show will benefit the wooden floor (previously known as Saint Joseph Ballet), providing hope and opportunity through dance, academic and family programs.
