Kelly Murphy was invited to be one of the 32 author/ilustrators contributing artwork to A Celebration of Beatrix Potter: Art and Letters by More Than 30 of Today's Favorite Children's Book Illustrators, edited by Beatrix Potter's historic publisher, Frederick Warne and Co.

Kelly Murphy in New Stories for Newtown

Kelly was honored to contribute artwork—her illustration Fairbanks—to the new book New Stories for Newtown: Words and pictures from the students of Newtown and their friends, a collaboration organized by Ross MacDonald and the C. H. Booth Library in Newtown, Connecticut. This initiative brought together talented young students from Newtown and professional author-illustrators such as Joe McKendry, Tony DiTerlizzi, Barbara McClintock, Jennifer Thermes and Lemony Snicket.

Kelly Murphy was invited to contribute 2 posters of Shakespeare plays - The Tempest and Macbeth - to the authoritative book Presenting Shakespeare: 1,100 Posters from Around the World, written by Mirko Ilic and Steven Heller.

Presenting Shakespeare, published by Chronicle Books, collects 1,100 posters for professional stagings of Shakespeare's plays, designed by an international roster of artists representing 55 countries, from Japan to Colombia, India, Russia, Australia, and beyond.
